Archival enquiries and research visits
We respond to archival enquiries by email or post and support research into our collections. Researchers are also welcome to book an appointment to visit the archives in person, where original material can be consulted under supervision in the reading room.
Online catalogue and digitised material
Our archival catalogue can be searched online, allowing researchers to explore the scope of our collections in advance. Through this service, a growing selection of digitised material is also available to view remotely.
Library and reading room
The archives reading room houses a specialist library of Mercy and Catholic material, including rare and historic volumes. The library catalogue can be browsed online, with books available to consult by appointment during research visits.
